We are a startup with headquarters in the Seattle area of the USA, and offices in Atlanta, Dallas and Malaga, Spain. Our core values are Openness, Innovation and Efficiency. We have a wealth of knowledge on Wireless communications and IT technologies and are tirelessly working towards developing a set of solutions with which we intend to challenge the status quo and bring more innovation to the backend system of cellular networks.

Petri Hautakangas
CEO
Petri joined Tupl on October 1st 2015 from Nokia. Petri is well known in the telecom industry across various continents, having worked in executive and senior positions in Japan, USA, China, Mexico, Brazil and Finland. In Japan, most recent position held was Nokia CTO for Japan&APAC markets. During earlier stint in Japan, Petri was instrumental in growing Nokia's mobile network business six-fold from 2008 to 2011, reaching well over 1BUSD sales. Petri also worked in Greater Seattle area as CTO from Nokia towards T-Mobile, orchestrating new mobile network solution that millions of T-Mobile users are now enjoying. Prior to Japan and USA, Petri worked in Nokia Brazil to help build business from near zero to biggest Nokia operations in Latin America. During his time, Brazil office grew from less than ten people to over 300. Petri holds a MSC in Technology from Helsinki University of Technology.
Pablo Tapia
CTO
Pablo founded Tupl after a 15 years career in wireless, where he worked on multiple roles across various areas and disciplines. Prior to joining Tupl, Pablo was a Member of the Engineering Staff at T-Mobile USA, where he led major technology projects, including the development of Self-Organizing Networks (SON), the design and deployment of Quality of Service (QoS) techniques, as well as spearheading the evolution to HSPA+ and LTE. Before joining T-Mobile, Pablo led a development team at Optimi, a software startup developing optimization solutions for operators, and held various positions at Nokia Networks R&D. He is an author and contributor to several books on Wireless technologies. Pablo holds a MSc EE from the University of Malaga, Spain.
Hector Montes
VP of Sales
Hector is a successful sales professional leader with over 15 years experience in telecom industry and international sales, helping companies to grow to successful acquisitions, leveraging his deep knowledge of mobile network optimization and OSS/BSS market space. Prior to joining Tupl, Hector was most recently with Arieso (acquired by Viavi), expanding their business in Europe to become the Market Leader in Location Intelligence; developing business with Aircom International (acquired by TEOCO) in OSS, Process Automation, SON and Network Planning; and with Actix Ltd (acquired by AMDOCS), where he led Optimization Solution business in USA, first, and EMEA, later, and introducing Network Status Management solution as market-first. Before, he was with Optimi (acquired by Ericsson), from inception (coming from Tartec, acquired by Optimi) and helping to grow their business in North America. Earlier, he hold various positions in System Research for Nokia Networks in Europe and China, authoring multiple patents, papers, magazine articles and contributing to several books on Wireless technologies. Hector holds a MSc EE from University of Malaga, Spain.
Jim Judson
Chairman of the Board
Jim was a partner at Eagle River Investments, a company formed by Craig McCaw to make investments in communications. He was founding president of Nextel International, and a director of Nextlink and China Unicom. He was founding president of a China Unicom franchise controlling the Shanghai, China market. Jim has served on the boards of China Unicom, Nextel International, NextLink, Lumera, Port Blakely Tree Farms (compensation committee, chair of audit committee), Garrett and Ring (compensation committee), Joshua Green Corporation (audit committee), Welco Lumber (compensation committee), Airbiquity (chair of finance committee), Sonata Capital (owner, board member), MediaCast (owner, board member), Seattle Institute for Biomedical and Clinical Research (board member, audit committee), Aubeta (board member) and TSK America (board member). Jim serves on the Boards of Trustees of the Pacific Northwest Ballet Foundation, the Yosemite National Institutes (emeritus), the Pacific Science Center (chair, finance committee) and the Washington Athletic Club (vice chair, finance committee)
